In 1965, Elbert Aldrich entered the real estate business with his father-in-law. A few years later, Aldrich set up an office in Temple, Texas with his wife, Dorthy Ann Cox Aldrich, incorporating the business as Elbert Aldrich Relators, Inc. With Elbert’s leadership, the company strived to provide its customers with outstanding representation in the area of commercial, industrial, and investment properties, land sales and development, and other real estate transactions. Elbert Aldrich Inc. secured a business plan that called for finding transaction, committing the buyer to the transaction, and closing the transaction; this principle has proven to be very successful in process over the years. Elbert Aldrich successfully operated his company for many years.
In 1977, Elbert Aldrich was joined by his daughter and son-in-law Amy and Lloyd Thomas. Over the course of times, more business was accumulated and processed by Lloyd Thomas. With the passing of Elbert Aldrich in 2005, the company experienced the generational change of operation and subsequently changed its name to Aldrich-Thomas Group, Realtors.
Lloyd Thomas is the current president of NAI Aldrich-Thomas Group. His extensive work in commercial real estate has earned him much recognition as an expert in the field. Thomas’ professional designations include the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) of the realtors Land Institute, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the CCIM Institute, and the Specialist, Industrial and Office Realtor (SIOR) of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
